Two new BMW concept vehicles, called the i series, were shown at an international expo. These concept cars are two cars that are driven purely by electricity. The eDrive engine releases zero emissions and uses super-efficient lithium-ion batteries to provide a smoother riding experience. The LifeDrive concept allows the cars to be lighter and stronger. Made of carbon fiber, the cars are comprised of two separate parts: the wheels and the manned compartment. This allows the car to be safer for the driver while being more cost-efficient. The cars were designed to be very aerodynamic, reducing engine consumption. Finally, the cars will come out with an app that helps drivers control their cars remotely.
