Novaliches Watershed Reservation in the Philippines

Greetings everyone! As an ambassador to the Philippines, I would like to present a special report about one of the greatest nature sites in the Philippines. Please enjoy as you read along and become more aware about the exquisite, preserved nature site in the Philippines! I would like to specifically focus on introducing the Novaliches Watershed Reservation. I have also attached my report on the Novaliches Watershed Reservation. But before you open this document, I would like to provide brief introduction about the unique characteristics of Novaliches Watershed Reservation. First off, what is "watershed"? According to Merriam-Webster online dictionary, watershed is "the area of land that includes a particular river or lake and all the rivers, streams, etc." Yes, this is definitely a true definition of watershed. However the Novaliches Watershed Reservation is more than just "the area of land" of rivers. It is also a valuable resource in the Philippines in that the river in the watershed provides a source of drinking water to 12 million Metro Manila residents, home to many species, and has been an area for environmental research. I hope this report can not only inform people about the unique characteristics of Novaliches Watershed Reservation, but also help further the cause of spreading the importance of preserving this nature site.
