The problem of climate change is much more serious and closer than people think. And this problem is not only about small island States, it is really global! Unfortunately, my country does not yet understand the scale of the problem. And after all disturbing calls arrive for a long time. In this article, I will continue to talk about what climate change is happening in the last twenty years in Russia. And first of all about dangerous hydrometeorological phenomena. Floods Floods are considered to be one of the most dangerous hydrometeorological phenomena. In many regions of Russia at the beginning of the XXI century the frequency of catastrophic floods increased by 15% compared to the last decade of the twentieth century. On the night of July 7, 2012, the flood flooded thousands of houses in the cities of Gelendzhik, Krymsk and Novorossiysk, as well as in a number of villages of the Krasnodar territory. Energy, gas and water supply systems, road and rail traffic were disrupted. According to Prosecutor's office, 168 people were lost, two more were missing. Most of the dead — in the city of Krymsk, which was the most severe blow of the elements. In this city 153 people were killed, more than 60 thousand people were recognized as victims. Fully destroyed recognized in the Crimean region 1,69 thousand homes. About 6.1 thousand houses were damaged. The damage from the flood amounted to about 20 billion rubles. At the end of the summer of 2013, a powerful flood hit the far East, which led to the largest flood in the last 115 years. The flood covered five subjects of the far Eastern Federal district, the total area of flooded areas amounted to more than 8 million square kilometers. Since the beginning of the flood, 37 municipal districts, 235 settlements and more than 13 thousand houses have been flooded. More than 100 thousand people were injured. Sat and avalanches The melting of mountain glaciers creates conditions for such catastrophic natural phenomena as mudflows, avalanches, glacier collapse. According to experts, if the current trend towards warming continues, the duration of the mudflow period on the Northern slope of the Greater Caucasus in the XXI century will increase by an average of 47-50 days, and the volume of rocks involved in the formation of mudflows — by 20-30%. September 1, 2017 in Kabardino-Balkaria powerful mudflow came down from the slopes of the gorge Adyl-su. In the mountains were cut off 27 tourist bases and 49 registered tourist groups, consisting of more than 500 people, including 133 foreigners — citizens of 16 countries. On August 18, 2017, showers and thunderstorms with hail took place in the area of Sudak, Feodosia and Koktebel (Crimea). Mudflow flooded in the area of Sudak households, vehicles, communications in the village of Krasnokamenka (Kizil-Tash), also the element damaged the vineyards under the pike. The village damaged about 42 hectares of vineyards, 15 of which were completely washed away. Strong wind In 2008, strong winds accounted for 19% of all hazards in Russia. Squalls, hurricanes, tornadoes cause significant economic damage, and sometimes cause death. May 29, 2017. The most striking example of the rampant natural disaster is a destructive hurricane that swept through Moscow in the spring of 2017. The most powerful hurricane and downpour covered Central Russia on may 29, 2017. A flurry like a tornado has passed in the Moscow region. More than 200 people were injured in connection with the natural disaster. Intense rains did not stop for several days. The hurricane uprooted trees from the ground, tore off the roofs of buildings, overturned cars, tore down billboards. Power supply in Moscow, as well as Vladimir, Kaluga, Ryazan and Tula regions was disrupted. Lightning damaged two passenger aircraft. This wind, which was on may 29, was not in the history of instrumental meteorological observations in the capital region of Russia. In some places it reached hurricane levels. Such a natural phenomenon is not typical for may. 21 April 2018. One year later, on April 21, 2018, a hurricane again struck Moscow and the Moscow region, comparable in power to last year's disaster. The weather on this day was extremely unstable: the first half of the day on the temperature background corresponded to the end of may, it was almost summer hot, and the evening-the beginning of March, in some areas it snowed. Squally wind knocked down hundreds of trees, ripped off the roof, demolished weakly fortified metal structures, and in Solnechnogorsk near Moscow in the midst of the school year, one of the schools of the city was completely left without a roof. Despite the timely warning of residents of the capital region about the stormy weather and the closure of all parks in Moscow, this time as well as a year ago, there were no casualties.
