Climate

Climate is the statistics of weather over long periods of time. It is measured by assessing the patterns of variation in temperature humidity , atmospheric pressure, wind, precipitation, atmospheric particle count and other meteorological variables in a given region over long periods of time.

Climate Change

The climate change phenomenon refers to seasonal changes over a long period with respect to the growing accumulation of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. Tackling this phenomenon is of utmost importance given the pivotal role that climate plays in the formation of natural ecosystems and the human economies and civilizations on which they are based.

Climate Change in Nepal

Climate change is hitting every country, and is affecting Nepal also. Due to high Himalayan region in Nepal it is in very risk. Landslide, Glacier brust, change in rainfall etc are major problems arise due to climate change.
Every people in hilly and Himalayan region of Nepal are in high risk. Nepal is more vulnerable than many countries to climate change because of factors such as high poverty and low adaptive capacity. If action is not taken now to build resilience and adaptive capacity, climate impacts are likely to be greatly exacerbated in the future.

    Hello Deepak!

Thank you for your report! Your report is really well-structured so even one who doesn??t have any idea on climate change would easily understand your points. In particular, some photo cards you attached made your points even clearer. Also, I like how you addressed the overall climate change globally and then compare it with the climate change in Nepal! Keep up the good work!

    Hi Deepak,

Thank you for your report, and it is great that you've addressed the climate change in Nepal. I believe the climate change is an ongoing process and there is no way that we can STOP this at this moment. The key is we can slow down the speed that how fast the global warming is happening.
