REPORT:Air Pollution

by CARLOS OCON DEGAMO JR. | 14-05-2019 13:03 recommendations 0

Air Pollution is a condition where additional vile substances in the atmosphere are added that may results to damage environment, human health and the quality of life and due to human activities inside homes, schools, offices, industries and cities that can spread across continent and even globally and this is one of the serious problem in many countries that treats lives, animals and other living thing and organism. The term smog refers to the combination of mass of smoke or fumes containing poisonous gases and particles of various industrial wastes that blackens the horizons of a highly polluted are and its comes from the exhaust pipes of vehicles and from the chimneys of factories.

Here in my country which is the Philippines, pedestrians often run into black fumes from the smoke-belching vehicles are crowded cities, whilst motorists in the suburbs see a layer of smog hanging low in the horizon of the Greater Manila Area. Recent high death rates of chickens in many poultries of Bulacan and of ducks in the towns of Pateros, Taguig and Pasig have been traced to air pollution. Sturdy plants which are used to beautify street islands and sidewalks can hardly survive in the toxic content of the air in the metropolis.

That is why they create law  for air pollution which is the clean air act of of 1999 state that The State shall promote and protect the global environment to attain sustainable development while   recognizing the primary responsibility of local government units to deal with environmental problems.

If we hold on together we can achieve better and protect our ozone layer to inhale fresh air and to conserve our mother nature.

    Thank you for this report.

It really gave me goosebumps. Air pollution has been problem to Earth since decade but we are still moving towards more pollution as if we are closing our eyes to see the casualties , and closing our ears to not know what's going on at national and World level for air pollution.
Air pollution has not only affected one or two city , country , or continent but everything is , even biosphere is not left to be affected.

Hope the initiatives are made sooner to solve these problems. And no other than we , Tunzians , should make well-remarked change for it.

As you have pointed out in your report, air pollution can threaten the human health and even leads to the death of animals. I hope the efforts of the Phillippines government continue to reduce air pollution. It will be helpful for us if you share what individulas can do for clean air in your next report. Keep up the good work.
