Taipei celebrates biodiversity in May |

Hi everyone! My name is Lisa Zaretskaya. I would like to draw your attention to my report related to Taipei celebrates biodiversity in May. 1) The first week was devoted to firefly season with Taiwan Insect Museum holding an encounter event with the lighting bugs at some Elementary Schools. A guided tour told participants more about the habitat of the insect and the mystery behind firefly luminescence. 2) The second week of May was devoted to the annual WildViewTaiwan Film Festival dedicated to biodiversity. documentaries to be aired focused on monkeys, lions, kingfishers, dinosaurs, and the origin of life – providing insights into some of the most amazing survival stories of various species. I've attended this festival before. I really liked it, so this year I invited my classmates to go together. It was great!!! 3) The third week of the month was devoted to marine conservation and the threats posed to ocean life, the last week will delve into the interwoven relationship between food, agriculture, and biodiversity. Thank you for your attention.

Thank you for sharing with us about Taiwan's celebration of biodiversity in May, and I bet you must had a great time in participating in this event. Thank you for introducing us this great event! It seems May Taipei covers pretty much all concepts of diversity and the way teach the concepts sounds very fun. In particular, I really would like to participate in the second week of May. Thank you for all the efforts and time taken in writing this report!

Learning about biodiversity through film sounds fun and overall the event seems to cover all aspects of the concept of diversity.
