World Environment Day 2019 (Indoor air purifier)

by Asmita Gaire | 05-06-2019 16:27 recommendations 0

Do you know?

Formaldehyde is an important chemical produced from numerous household products along with materials used in industries. Combustion and other natural processes ultimately results formaldehyde production. It is a water soluble gas whose adsorption to particles carry it deeper into lungs causing toxin, asthma attacks and upper respiratory tract problems. Formaldehyde vaporizes into the air, causing serious health problems at room temperature. It is a serious cause to air pollution.

Apart from using mask while traveling to ban in use of firewood for cooking in hostel to beat air pollution; this time considering indoor air quality, on the occasion of #WorldEnvironmentDay2019, I planted Aloevera, a great indoor companion, in my mini garden pot. I planted few aloevera plants in my garden pot. Aloevera is one of the air purifiers plant. It is easy to grow and it helps to keep your home free from benzene, formaldehyde and other chemicals which is commonly found in paint and certain chemical  compounds.

Trust me, it has tremendous benefits. Try it!!!

    Hello Asmita!

Thank you for sharing your own way to deal with indoor air pollution. According to a research done by WTO, more than 3.8 millions of people dies due to indoor pollution. Household chemicals from paints, glues or compounds released from candles can seriously harm respiratory systems. In this situation, I believe planting air purifier plants is the best way to enhance indoor air quality. Thank you for your pictures of Aloevera!

    Hey Asmita!

Industrial products that are infused with the Formaldehyde chemical compound should be made aware of the negative implications of them. On average, indoor air is more pollutied that outdoor air, so it is necessary to make sure that we educate those who do not understand the nature of the invasive compound.

Thank you for informing me and the many who will be reading your report today and the days to come!

I believe plants in general have the heal power of rejuvenating the air. And Aloevera is a great example. Your plant and pot are so cute!

I hope you update us on the growth of your little Aloe plant.

Thank you once again for this great bit of information surrounding air pollution and how to conquer it!
    Sincerely,
    Rosa
