Book Review - The Eco- Heroes |

Eco-heroes consist of a series of 5 books. It is mainly aimed for school students (Primary students). The series of books tries to highlight numerous environmental issues. The central characters are students named Ahmeds, Sundos, Rudi, Finlay and Maria. They are friends and young environmentalists. Let’s meet the Eco-heroes one by one. Maria knows all the details about 3Rs – Reduce, reuse and recycle. She raises awareness regarding the 3Rs with her friends and peers. Rudi is crazy about football and is from South Africa. She thinks of ways to conserve water and reduce it wastage. Ahmed is the youngest among the 5. He is known as the Emperor of Energy as he is very fond of renewable energy sources. Sundos is Ahmed’s elder sister. She is a very confident girl. She is also the school head girl. She is passionate about reducing single-use plastics. Finaly is very passionate about food and wants to avoid food wastage. He is inspired by his uncle who is a chef. The super 5 Eco-heroes want to preserve, protect the earth’s resources and save the planet through their initiatives. They want to recycle, conserve the energy, reduce food waste and minimize the use of plastics in their environment. The main aim of the initiative and book series is to raise awareness and promote environment sustainability. This can be achieved by simple everyday choices. First book was The Eco-Heroes Recycling Trip Trouble wherein the Eco-heroes school trip to a recycling plant and their experience is illustrated. While the second book was The Eco-Heroes Fight for Food explains the importance of food and how we can save food as well as our environment. The other books will be based on plastic pollution and alternative energy and water conservation. These 5 school children learn about the environment. These books are printed in UAE on recycled paper using vegetable ink. The books are available in Arabic and English. The main intention was to tackle global issues but on a local level. Hi Sainath,
Thank you for writing and sharing this report with us. I think this book is useful as it talks about eco-friendly methods throughout this book. IN fact, based on the pictures the cartoons also look fun and interesting! I want to read this book as well! :)

Thank you for your recommendation. ‘The eco heroes?? sounds like a perfect book for children who want learn ways to solve environmental issues through little changes in daily lives. Plus, it??s very interesting that these books are printed by recycled paper with vegetable ink. I look forward to your next report : )

This book is really informative and is great for young members to read. It also I like how all the 5 friends have knowledge on aspects of how to safeguard the environment. Although they are still children they show that even children can make a difference in the world if they are informed.

This will be a perfect book for the primary students. The stories of Eco Heroes are definitely fascinating. Will surely suggest this book series for the school students.
