Model United Nations (MUN) are simulationsof the real United Nations in which studentdelegates assume the roles of diplomats ofthe countries they represent in attempting toreach solutions to the major problems facingthe world today.Model United Nations, also known as ModelUN or MUN, is an extra-curricular activity inwhich students typically role-play delegatesto the United Nations and simulate UNcommittees.
