International Literacy Day 2019 september 8
I am very happy to share my experiences and efforts on this platform. Celebration of International Literacy day was in my wishlist when I applied for tunze e-gen ambassador. I am directly going to describe the program in detail. Being 23rd regional tunza eco generation ambassador, I planned for short knowledge sharing program about animal welfare and environment to the childern of local schools. Luckily, I met some of my friends who represent animal welfare related organization 'Veterinary Students For Animal Welfare' who have same plan to do on this occasion. We planned some programs but we chose school awareness which might be effective in short period. We chose three school around Rampur, Chitwan and got permission to organize the program. Collection of effective presentation materials, making powerpoint slides and other management was successfully done with combine effort which made more easy to conduct the program. Day 1, 8th september 2019, We went Grandee secondary boarding school, Rampur chitwan. We selected students of grade 8 and 9 and organized the program. Our main topic for sharing to the school children was: 1. stray animal welfare 2. plastic pollution 3. food waste . Apart from these, I introduced me as a tunza eco generation ambassador and had some discussion in it. About 150 students and some teachers were actively involved in the program 2nd day, 9 september 2019 We went to two schools by diving group and had success on the program. International Literacy day is celebrated in each year in Nepal with a theme and this time I got an opportunity to be a part of this. Thank you tunza eco generation and all my friends who always give energy to by commenting very positive to do. Here are some photos about the program. |

Dear Hyeongmin Mentor,
Thanks for your kind words. I feel lucky that I have some friends who always help me. The program was so good and fruitful. I didn't face any problems. But if I had banner of tunza, it would be more easy to promote. Thanks😊

Hi Bal Krishna,
It is interesting to read and know of the success of your planned program. I must say you have chosen the right one by selecting school awareness.
One of the best place for environmental education and awareness events is a citadel of learning.
I believe the students must have been exposed through your program.
Keep the fire burning
