In this report I want to talk about what large-scale youth projects and activities in the field of ecology and sustainable development are being implemented in Russia.

First of all, I want to note that over the past few years in Russia, and especially in large cities such as Moscow, Saint-Petersburg youth eco-movement has significantly increased and strengthened.

Almost every major University and many colleges form groups of eco-volunteers and eco-activists who are engaged in educational activities in the field of ecology and implements various eco-projects.
In 2019 in Moscow and the regions took place the anniversary Musicfest. Musicfest is the annual Intercollegiate festival of sustainable development. Every year in April, the universities together spend tens of environmental activities, which aim to improve the environment.

The organizers are trying to introduce the concept of "green" universities and integration of principles of sustainable development into the activities of universities. They do this with active students, who themselves propose and implement environmental initiatives. The festival gives participants the opportunity to influence the development of the city and contribute to its sustainable development. In addition, the organizers of festivals in different universities collaborate, allowing them to share experiences using best practices for the conservation of nature and the environment. For three years, with the active support of the Department of natural resources and environmental protection of the city of Moskvyi of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation, the festival has become a platform for the implementation of environmental projects on the basis of the 50 largest universities in Russia. The University where I study now — the Moscow state University also participates in this Festival.
One of the leaders in the eco-movement is the Association of green universities in Russia. The website of the Association: http://зеленыевузы.рф
The Association of "green" universities of Russia is part of the Federal partnership program "Green schools of Russia", which implements all-Russian green Movement, ECA and the Fund of youth initiatives support "ERA".

• The Association is engaged in ecological education of schoolchildren and students.
Most of the tasks of the Russian quests contain events aimed at formation of ecological culture and ecological education of children, pupils and students and creating a healthy and green lifestyle.
• Develops environmental student movement in Russia.
Association in the framework of the national quests conducts environmentally focused events, such as round tables, conferences, exhibitions, festivals, darmaki and many others, exposing the students to current environmental problems. As a result, formed the team of active volunteers who want to unite, to join the Association and change the ecological footprint of humanity.

•Recruits teachers to participate in the development of the environmental movement in educational institutions.

The Association holds scientific online conference on topical environmental issues and education for sustainable development, involving teachers as experts and supervisors .
• Develops international student interaction and cooperation on the environmentally oriented student and youth associations.
The Association is engaged in the development of international cooperation, actively participates in various international events, internships and cooperates with universities in Europe and CIS countries.
Another one of the famous projects, the "Green universities".

The aim of the project "Green University" – to develop "green" infrastructure in universities and the culture of sustainable lifestyles among Russian students.
In the project "Green" universities" are being involved students and staff from different faculties of MSU and other universities. The essence of the project that the University is not only a place for learning and research in the environmental field, but also a platform for the implementation of environmental projects. It's one thing when you tell students, as it should be, and another thing when they come to University and see that there is already separate collection of waste, the program works to improve energy efficiency, are widely used bikes. If the University becomes such a demonstration site is the path to sustainable development, students involved in the process, understand that this is not just abstract things, but the positive story of the creation of something new.

Thus, I want to say that great importance to improve the efficiency of the youth movement in ecology is the combination of these efforts and their integration.
