The planet our common heritage! The World Clean Up-Day has become, to us, as a framework more than appropriate to bring together young people from all walks of life and carry out citizen actions. Thus, September 21, 2019 was the only day in the world, unique in Africa, unique in Togo. We proceed to the collection of litter such as cigarette butts, plastic bags, glass bottles, plastic bottles, fruit peel etc ... but also to sensitize the local population on the need to preserve our environment . The goal is to get young people to be ambassadors of the planet earth and to make other Ambassadors. We are therefore looking forward to this strong mobilization. We hope that this action, outside of the day of the 21st, will continue every day that God does. It must also be said that the real impact of this action is at the level of nationals of the municipality of Bè. Indeed, they have understood the need to live in a healthy environment and have responded able to perpetuate our actions on the ground. In total, we had 243 participants and 2430 kg of waste collected, 17 organizations in particular Rotaract Club Lomé Roots, Run Ecological Action, YMCA - TOGO, AIESEC in Togo, YALI TOGO, OJEDD International, EcoloTrip, Alternative Leadership Group, RJ2D-Africa , Act 4 ODDs, JCI TOGO, Leo Lions Clubs of Togo, Let's Do It World / TOGO. Contributing to humanity's happiness by raising awareness, drawing the attention of the communities of Bè on the omnipresence of litter in our environment must be our mission every day.

Hey Kodzo!
it's Lisa your mentor:)
World Clean-Up Day!
What a great day you have got there!
I think the young people in Korea could definitely take this model and adopt it in our own country:)
The problems regarding climate and environment often seem very big and international that we often feel lost of what to do. However there is no need for us to hurry or be afraid, every big achievement starts with baby steps! Engaging in the local community and doing a regional project is a way to start tackling the international climate issue. I think you have a great start there!
Thanks for sharing such an inspiring work and nice picture also!
Keep up the green work,
and I know you and your community are contributing to our global society taking a huge step towards protecting our earth:)
Nice Job!

Hello Klomegah!
By looking at the photos, I can see that the local people had a fruitful day.
The event that was held in September 21 not only made the region cleaner, but it also probably made people who did not participate become aware of the environmental issues.
I hope someday in the future there is no need to have a clean up day!
Thank you for the great report!

Health is well and provided that our environment is 'sick' of pollution, we will no longer enjoy health. Continue with the good work
