Usually conference and conventions happen in large cities and big conference halls but Thinkers' Convention 2019 was organized at sustainable community of Nepal at Amaltari Tharu Village, Nawalparasi.
Thinkers' Convention 2019 had more than 60 participants from different parts of Nepal who have been involved in mobilization of Youth and been associated with Youth Thinkers' Society. I was glad to join the convention too. Amaltari Village Homestay is dominant of Tharu Community. Tharu one of the popular and respected indigenous group of Nepal rich in their typical culture and typical lifestyle. This village has been in the buffer zone of Chitwan National Park and has been protected as Sustainable community initiative of Nepal and they have been supported by Chitwan National Park and World WildLife Fund. They also offer the visitors for the safari in the national park. Keeping in mind the convention being held at sustainable environment village, we prepared few rules to follow during the convention: 1. No food Wastage 2. No Harm to Animals 3. No Plastic Pollution 4. No damage to environment This conference was held between 29 December to December 1st and ended up with action plans ans strategies for youth mobilization, environmental protection and different activities to be conducted during the year 2020.

Hello Kushal
Thank you for the introduction to the conference held in small city of Nepal.
Transition to sustainable village is certainly not an easy decision, since it requires little bit of sacrifice from the villagers. I give my respect to those villagers of Amaltari Tharu village, and hope the conference ended with productive results.
Thank you for the great report.
