Wishing Merry Christmas to Tunza EcoGeneration team, mentors, fellow ambassadors, memmebers and whole Tunza Ecogeneration family.

CHRISTMAS is knocking its door. We send and receive gifts during gifts but do we care how kuch of pollutants we are creating with the wrappers of the gift. Generally gifts are wrapped with single use plastics as decoratives which becomes useless after the gifts are received and are turned as pollutants. In the world woth lots of environmental threat, Plastic Pollution is one of the major threat. This christan, let's become ecofriendly santa and reduce the use of single use plastic and beat plastic pollution.
Small acts brings great impact and ripples of small act together can create a bigger change. Together we can beat plastic pollution.
There are several other ways to celebrate christmas green.
1. Gift EcoFriendly gifts tonyour friends and relatives.
2. Don't waste food during festival.
Do check out my video on Food Wastage during festival: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y8hmluZVvo0&feature=share
3. Use eco friendly christmas trees which can be replanted or reused after it use rather than throwing to landfills.
4. We throw away 1.5 billion card everyone. So create a eco friendly christmas card amd reduce the carbon footprint.
5. We are alreading faccing a huge problem of air pollution. So reduce the use of crackees.

    Hello Kushal

I agree with you that there must be huge amount of wastes being produced to celebrate Christmas. However, people should know that there are other great ways to celebrate the day. Alternative ways you suggested should be advertised so Christmas is not a day just for humans, but also for the nature.

Thank you for the informative report.
