Environmental disaster in Australia

by Elizaveta Zaretskaya | 04-01-2020 15:43 recommendations 1

Hi everyone! My name is Lisa Zaretskaya. I would like to draw your attention to my report related to the topic of Environmental disaster in Australia. Climate change will destroy the environment, and then will destroy human society as well. This is what we are seeing now in  Australia. The country is suffering from the worst wildfires in its history. Fires get worse when things are hot, dry, and windy. But it is worth emphasizing that the koalas aren't the only ones suffering. All animals suffer!!!

Australia is the second-largest coal exporter in the world and the second-largest exporter of liquid natural gas. All this makes Australia the third-largest exporter of carbon dioxide emissions. So, without a strong international climate policy, there will be future droughts, fires, and other disasters.

Thank you for your attention.

    Hey Elizaveta,
    it's Lisa, your mentor.

It's a tragedy that we have another big fire after the catastrophe that broke everyone's heart in Brazil. I heard that the Australian fire is not being suppressed but instead even is spreading even more. Even the neighboring country of New Zealand is having a serious negative effect due to the fire with the polluted air due to fire ash and yellow sky.
Our cute little friend koala, who has already been threatened due to disappearing forests and environmental harm is one of the biggest victims of this disaster, I heard.

I hope that it is solved in urgent manners.
    Let's all pray!

    Hello Elizaveta

It is truly sad that the huge area of precious land are just burnt up.
I'm also surprised about the fact that Australia is the third largest exporter of the carbon dioxide emission. It would be much better if there are some effective policies to protect the environment.

Thank you for the great report.

Hi Lisa, your title caught my eye at the first glimpse. I am not used to wildfires at my side of the world which is Africa and Ghana to be precise. I have been hearing of the Australian wildfires on BBC Radio and sometimes I read up on it via the news. Condolences to all the affected. I will check up the research and learn more from it. Thanks for sharing!

    Green Cheers!
