Hi everyone! My name is Lisa Zaretskaya. I would like to draw your attention to my last report related to the topic¡± Environmental issues in Films and Books¡±. A few years ago, I watched a film, ¡° Vanishing of The Bees¡±. This film was directed by George Langworthy and Maryam Henein. The story is centered on the sudden disappearance of honey bees from beehives around the globe, which was caused by the phenomenon known as Colony Collapse Disorder or CCD. Quite simply, the honey bees are vanishing. This phenomenon has brought beekeepers to crisis in an industry responsible for producing apples, broccoli, watermelon, onions, cherries and a hundred other fruits and vegetables. Everyone knows that bees are very vital to our ecological environment. Many scientists say, that if the bees die off, the whole world might perish after them, and I agree to that. Without bees doing their pollination work, vegetables and foodstuffs will disappear. Filming across the US, in Europe, Australia and Asia, this documentary examines the alarming disappearance of honeybees and the greater meaning it holds about the relationship between mankind and mother earth. As scientists puzzle over the cause, organic beekeepers indicate alternative reasons for this tragic loss. I strongly suggest you watch this film! And now I offer a trailer for this movie. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ze9qxhQ65O4

Hello Elizaveta
Certainly bees play huge role in the ecosystem. And it is very unfortunate that bees are vanishing due to the damaged environment. Since this documentary seems to contain a lot of information related to the disappearance of the bees, it can make people aware of the importance of bees, and give them another reason to save the nature.
I will introduce this documentary to the people interested in bees!

Hey Lisa!
It's your mentor.
Great film you have here!!
I think that as you have said, the film really presents that there is a powerful link between us humans and mother nature.
The disappearance of bee is not an end but just a beginning of colony collapse on earth, and we all know that humans are not risk-free of this chain effect.
Not only the food but the whole ecosystem will be destroyed.
I think the film is of a great weight, reminding us of how each living things play a critical role in nature and how we should be aware of what we are doing to them.
Thank you so much for your recommendation dear!
