Sir David Frederick Attenborough (born 8 may 1926, London) is one of the world's most famous TV presenters and naturalists. One of the pioneers of nature documentaries. The Creator and host of ten famous nature documentary series (the tenth was completed in the fall of 2009), detailing all life forms on Earth and their interactions. In the 1960s and 70s, he was the chief Manager of the BBC.
He has one of the most extraordinary life. The famous connection between Attenborough and nature began with the three-hour program "the Pattern of Animals" ("Trends in the animal world"), filmed at the London zoo with the famous naturalist Julian Huxley (Attenborough was the host of this program). In the program, they found out how nature uses camouflage, aposematism, and marriage rituals. In September 1954, Attenborough went to Sierra Leone to shoot material for the TV series "adventures with wild animals". These programs were a great success with viewers and a year later, in March 1955, Attenborough and his team went to South America to shoot new materials. In 1956, another expedition was conducted — to Komodo island, to shoot the famous Komodo lizards. Then there were trips to Australia and Madagascar. in Addition to filming, these expeditions had purely scientific goals-catching exotic animals for the London zoo. From 1965 to 1969, Attenborough worked as controller of the British television channel "BBC Two". In 1967, BBC Two became the UK's first colour television channel. From 1969 to 1972, he served As Director of programmes (with responsibility for the BBC One and BBC Two channels). His programs are one of the best documentaries about nature which ever existed. The way he has changed our view about nature and environment is unbelievable. The way he's telling us about how to work with nature, rather than against her can encourage even the laziest person on Earth. He knows everything about ecosystems and environment and now he's changing people minds for brighter future. Dame Valerie Jane Morris Goodall ( born 3 April 1934, London) is a British primatologist, ethologist and anthropologist, and UN peace Ambassador. Dame commander of the order of the British Empire. She is widely known for her more than 45 years of studying the social life and intelligence of chimpanzees in the Gombe stream National Park in Tanzania and as the founder of the Jane Goodall international Institute. Member of the Board Of the project for the protection of non-human rights since its Foundation in 1996. In April 2002, she was named a UN peace Ambassador. Dr. Goodall is also an honorary member of the world Council for the future Bright representative of science and nature is currently engaged in animal rights. Having devoted most of her life to primates she knows a lot about nature and the environment. You can listen to her speeches endlessly, the way she speak and what ideas she's implementing are incredibly useful and her actions speak for themselves. Lone Drosher-Nielsen - specialist in environmental protection. Born: November 4, 1964 (age 55), Aalborg, Denmark Working with the Borneo Orangutan Rescue Foundation, Drosher-Nielsen now manages the largest Primate project on the planet. Her work is more like a continuous one, requiring a lot of experience in diplomacy, incredible administrative details, and constant fundraising. Only a thin wall separates lone from the 24 orphaned babies who sleep in her home every night. She doesn't have sweet dreams and doesn't get enough sleep, as she wakes up many times a night to the screams of frightened babies, whimpering, screaming, and calling for their mothers. If you ever seen her starring in " Orangutans school" you may considered how much she loves her orangutans. She is a mother for all of them. She knows every single thing about every creature in Niary Menteng and one interesting thing - she is the reason why I want to become zoologist in future and work with orangutans in Borneo. Indeed there are a lot of people whose saving environment and doing a great things to improve environmental protection, but in my consideration these people are one of the most famous, experienced and educated in nowadays. If you have more examples, please write them in comments! |

Hi Diana, this is Sang Su Lee. I can see that you've done some researches to write this report. Well done. Thanks to that, I could know those people who have endeavored a lot for the better environment.
Just one thing. Some sentences are quite vague. 'The way he's telling us about how to work with nature, rather than against her can encourage even the laziest person on Earth.
He knows everything about ecosystems and environment and now he's changing people minds for brighter future. ' What is the way? He knows what about ecosystem? How he changed people's minds? Throughout the passage, there are some sentences that need specific information. Without this clarification, this report is just summarizing what they have done.
Good luck!

Hello Diana!
First of all, thank you for introducing those famous people who contributed their life to save the earth! And I want to introduce a person who helped to save the planet. His name is Al Gore, the former vice president of America. He made many eco-friendly policies in his tenure. But he is famous for the documentary, An Inconvenient Sequel which he wrote the scenario.
In this documentary, Many 'inconvenient' truth about global warming is presented, which is not possible to ignore. And the documentary tries to motivate us that global warming is really serious and we have to do something to protect our earth.
The documentary is insightful so I hope you watch it!
Anyway, thank you for introducing such a great environmentalist! Great job!
