(Free report) Eco meeting in our city and my speech there |

Yesterday, my team and I participated in a meeting with all organizations involved in environmental activities in our city.we made notes and negotiated with them because we need help in organizing separate trash cans, promotions, contests, masterclasses, and promotions. Also lectures in other schools. It was incredibly useful, I learned a lot of new things, I did not even know that our people are so warned and have so much to do for our environment.
My speech was about my petitions to ban single-use plastic and children's rights to sign environmental petitions, and I also appealed to everyone present for help from my school and my team

@Sang Su Mentor, as alternative we can use reusable bags, but some people under different circumstances cant use them, so there's one more alternative - reusable bags for rent with some deposit or just prohibit plastic bags with power of a law and put a punishment for it, it might be not so democratic and polite, but still it's useful.

First of all, thank you for the photos which were taken at the meeting! It helped me to feel how the meeting place's atmosphere is! And it is really glad to hear that you gave some speeches at the meeting. Great job to protect our earth! And also your petition's subject is insightful! I didn't know that children cannot sign environmental petitions! You discovered a really serious problem and your petition will be helpful to children who have their opinion about the environment!

Hi Diana, this is Sang Su.
I'm so glad that you are doing a good job as an eco ambassador. I really want to know what you've said in your speech in more detail. Also, you mentioned about a ban of single-use plastic. In Korea, from 2019, the government has prohibited people to use plastic bags when people are buying vegetables, fruits and fish. However, this policy was blamed because it was nearly impossible not to use plastic bags when buying those stuffs. There should be an alternative! What do you think the alternatives for not using this single-use plasitc bags?
