Human advancement is always related to harvesting prosperity form agriculture innovation. The emerging consensus implies the application of modern and improved tools for designing a more sustainable agricultural system. Newer agriculture system models are data-driven and represent multiple crops and simulate inter-cropping or crop-livestock interactions . Current huge investments by corporations in agricultural technologies have brought modernization in the agricultural system. New and promising technological innovations involving use of artificial intelligence, automation and robotics in agriculture, modern system of livestock farming, greenhouse practices, and precision agriculture are introduced. Besides this, 21st century agriculture witnessed used of technology triad (biotechnology, ICT, and nanotechnology) . The advancement in agrigenomics can offer sustainable productivity and solution for feeding the ever-increasing global population. Biotechnical approaches like genetic manipulation hold immense potential to enhance agricultural productivity via altering agriculturally important complex traits . The future holds on growing opportunities for smart crops to ensure food and nutritional security. |

Thank you for sharing a nice report about agriculture. It is well known that agricultural revolution has made people to settle down in one district and live there forever if they want. However, as you mentioned, any technological development has to be sustainable. Humans cannot pressure the ecosystem because this will result in catastrophe. From the experience, we know that it is not clever to plant certain vegetables in consecutive years because this will depreciate the land quality. Thank you for introducing how sustainable development in agricultural technology is important.

Thank you for writing about agriculture! Reading your article, suddenly I thought about my favorite movie, Interstellar. In the movie interstellar's first scene, not going well-farming field shown. And people starving because of the bad harvest. Agriculture is the primary source of vitality and we have to be careful of agriculture technology developing. Nowadays, ICT technology is adapted in agriculture so that we can do 'smart farming' which is very efficient.
