Earth Hour Nepal 2020, Raise your voice for the planet |

In light of the COVID - 19 (coronavirus) outbreak, Earth Hour Nepal 2020 will take place digitally for the first time ever through #VoiceForThePlanet. You can tune in digitally throughout the day on 28 March to #Connect2Earth and raise your #VoiceForThePlanet while meeting like-minded change-agents online. Exciting environmentally-friendly prizes and discounts at some of Nepal's leading sustainable brands in the process is also awarded.
⏰ We are the first generation to fully understand that we are destroying the world. And the last that can do anything about it. People around the world are raising their #VoiceForThePlanet this Earth Hour, will you? Simple acts at the individual level (as insignificant as they may seem) can lead to pockets of change. With this spirit, Earth Hour Nepal 2020 focuses on turning awareness into action. Together, let's make sustainability “the new normal" 📢 As world leaders gather to take climate action this year, Voice For the Planet is a platform for NEPAL to RAISE ITS VOICE at the global stage and demand urgent action. You can raise your voice through https://www.wwfnepal.org/voice/ On 28 March, youth across Nepal—from Chitwan to Dolpa—will come together digitally to raise their #VoiceForThePlanet and share their thoughts, art, photography about the need to protect and celebrate nature. Hi Kushal Naharki, this is Sang Su Lee.
Thank you for introducing such an interesting campaign to us. Earth hour is known as very meaningful activity to save the energy and therefore to save the planet. I also agree with the sentence that said we are the last generation that can do anything about the earth's situation. However, I do not agree that we are the one who made the earth like this today. Anyway, it is obvious that we must take actions.

Thank you for notifying me that Earth Hour Nepal 2020 will be held digitally! Your slogan(let's make sustainability “the new normal')was impressive, it touched me. You're right. We have to change our mindset that eco-friendly activities are not abnormal, which people now think that quite abnormal. For that reason, I think Earth day related festivals must behold frequently! And I'm glad that Earth day in Nepal is going to hold with the digital way even though COVID-19 outbreaks!
