(free report) Coronavirus and the environment |

Coronavirus is now part of our reality in most of the countries around the globe we hope this situation gets better as soon as possible but until we find a solution to this pandemic we are requested to stay at our homes. The consequences of COVID-19 are terrible and I am not trying to say it is something positive but is making many changes that can make us think about our hole in the society and how we are destroying the environment. As we are at home, transport and production have decreased reducing air pollution and consequently, the population can breathe better. The concentration of nitrogen dioxide (NO2), is a gas that causes significant airway inflammation, is a short-lived pollutant and is produced mainly by vehicles and thermal power plants, which has dropped dramatically in Wuhan in northern Italy and cities like Madrid and Barcelona. The closure of factories and stores in China along with travel restrictions to deal with the pandemic have resulted in a substantial decline in fossil fuel consumption in the Asian country, this process produced at least a 25% drop in China's carbon dioxide (CO©ü) emissions. It is estimated that in the past three weeks, China has emitted 150 million metric tons of CO©ü less than in the same period last year. The relief is likely to be momentary but is one of the unexpected consequences of the outbreak of the new coronavirus, was cleaner air and reduced emissions of gases that contribute to climate change, making us think about the ways we treat the environment and that changes must be made. The current situation is very serious and must be well understood by the population. We all need to be aware of the situation, cooperate, stay at home; protect our immunity and take care of the elderly. And when this pandemic is over, we must take better care of the environment. Hello Fernanda pioli macedo, this is mentor Taehyun.
Thank you for the report about COVID-19. But, this virus also gave us a chance to remind what we've done to our mother nature. Cause after the industrial revolution, we didn't much care about the environment. And I think those kinds of viruses (COVID-19, SARS, H1N1, etc.) is a very tragic situation, but we have to think this in a little different way. We, the human being, have a duty to recover the environment and those kinds of a virus is a lesson from nature! (My personal opinion)
Thank you for the report, and be safe!
Green cheers!

Hi Fernanda pioli macedo, this is a mentor Sang Su Lee.
Ironically the disease that bothers the human race in unforeseen magnitude is helping the earth to stay healthy. I've never experienced a cleaner spring sky in Korea in ten years. This experience infers that stoppage on people's activities just for two months can make drastic change to the earth's environment. Also, it makes people opportunities to reflect on what they've done is quite terrible to the green environment.
Thank you for your report!
