Macao graffiti trash cans along the street: add interest to the city£º
I walked through the streets of Macau and didn't feel that the environmental facilities were a disgusting device.
q
After investigation, we learned that there are many narrow streets in Hengjie in Macau, and there are certain difficulties in finding more suitable places to build garbage houses. Therefore, the Civil Affairs Department is studying the introduction of compressed garbage bins and improved lifting methods to match the narrow lanes in Hengjie in Macau. Many features. After years of continuous improvement and optimization of garbage collection facilities by the Civil Affairs Department, the sanitation environment of the relevant facilities has been significantly improved. So far, 134 closed garbage rooms and 58 compressed garbage bins have been installed throughout Australia. Reduce the number of trash cans in Macao from approximately 1,600 to 233 during peak periods. In order to improve the appearance of related facilities, the Department of Civil Affairs has implemented three-dimensional greening on the top of closed garbage rooms in recent years, and increased vertical greening beside the compressed barrels for beautification and increasing the amount of urban greening, adding greenery to narrow streets.

In the context of the construction of the Greater Bay Area, in order to cooperate with Macau's development as a "world tourism and leisure center", the Civil Affairs Department and the Macau Polytechnic College of Art have launched a "garbage beautification project" plan. The garbage cans along the "Discussion Walking Tour Route" are beautified. The main concept of the design and planning is to express the impression of Macau as a Sino-Portuguese cultural gathering, history and cultural display, life and art fusion, applying artistic imagery patterns to present the symbolic characteristics of each route. About 250 garbage bins along the eight walking routes were completed in January this year, becoming a highlight of the image of the city of Macau.
I think that the trash can in Macau is a part of the city and is no longer an ordinary environmental facility.

=Hello YILE CHEN, greeting from mentor Taehyun.

Thank you for a report about the trash bin in Macau! Decorating the trash bin with the colorful design seems to be a really great idea! Actually, a normal trash bin in the normal city likely to destroy the city landscape, but as I see the photo, I think that the trash bin can be an artwork! Really impressive!

    Thank you for the report!

    Green cheers!

Hi YILE CHEN, this is a mentor Sang Su Lee.

There is a Korean axiom stating that the better look a piece of cake is, the more people might want to eat it. Your article reminds me of this axiom. Trash cans are disgusting as you have mentioned. However, if the eye joy can replace this disgusting feeling positively, this will motivate people to throw away their trashes inside the trash cans. I hope this kind of environmental project would be developed more and more, connecting unfavorable behaviors with favorable behaviors.

Thank you for sharing an article!
