ONLINE JUNK ART COMPETITION

by Bal krishna Pandey | 21-04-2020 22:25 recommendations 0

Now its time to celebrate Earth Day 2020.
Due to this COVID 19 lock down period, we are going to celebrate Earth Day digitally.
For me, plastic pollution is always preferred topic to work for environment. So, during my 23rd term, I had organised many programs and projects through my Project- HPCP which was created to make easy for public participation and awareness through social media. In collaboration with YFOP Nepal and EDN(Earth Day Network), I am going to organised a campaign- Online Junk Art Competition.
The main theme of this program is - REDUCE, REUSE AND RECYCLE.

Do you have a solution to reduce and prevent plastic pollution? Share your idea with us and submit it!

Human have become dependent on plastics for a range of uses, from packaging to products. Do you know every year the landfills and oceans have been overloaded with tons of plastics resulting adverse effects on marine life and human beings? To mitigate this, we must find ways to reduce, reuse, recycle and eventually eliminate single use plastic products and there is no other best day than earth day to initiate it.
On the occasion of World Earth Day 2020
Youth for our planet, Nepal in collaboration with Tunza eco generation and EDN is organizing an online contest ¡°1 week trash challenge ¡°based on theme ¡°Reuse, Recycle, Reduce¡±.

Rules-

1. Take any unused plastic materials any forms of plastic like bottles, straws, bags; packaging that is available in your home.

2. Transform that into junk Art. Like flower pot, pencil bucket and others according to your creation and you also can add accessories too to give it more artistic look.

3. Send your art with short caption relating to theme to yfopnepal@gmail.com.

4. Winners will be decided based on 70% likes, comments, shares, and 30% on judge evaluations.

Note: multiple comments are not allowed. You must not forget to like our page ¡®Heal the planet, cut the plastic-project HPCP to value your likes, comments and share.

Winners will be awarded with exciting prizes sponsored by Tunza Eco generation. Also the winner will receive extra pencils, notepads and Eco rurals and have to share other people as gifts . Go invent, all you need is a good imagination and a pile of junk.
Stay safe and Be creative!

Hello Bal krishna Pandey, this is mentor Taehyun!

Thank you for sharing the event! For this quarantine situation, this junk art competition is the best way to use free time, I think! I think the concept of the junk art is really good for our environment, because it utterly recycle the trash by our own hands, and with those activities, we can rethink how recycling thing is hard. I hope many people to participate in this good contest!

    Good luck!
