by Bal krishna Pandey | 26-04-2020 21:25 0 |
World Veterinary Day is celebrated on the last Saturday of April every year. This year this historic day was celebrated on April 25th with the theme"Environmental Protection For Improving Animal and Human Health". This is mainly celebrated to show respect and solidarity to veterinary professionals around the world. Over the year¡¯s veterinarians have competed vital and contributory roles in analysis on animal, and human health and well-being, medicine analysis, food quality, food safety, food safety, ecology, ethics, medicine, biological science, parasites, pathology, physiology, psychology, radiology. And therefore, the development of prescription drugs, treatments, vaccines, and toxicology; As academics, trainers, and policy-makers, and conjointly in conjunction with wildlife conservation efforts and conservation of the surroundings and diverseness. As the challenges grow, veterinarians have discovered ways that to adapt that their information and knowledge build them multifarious professionals. It helps societies to make their animals healthy and productive. Not amazingly, changing into a veterinarian could be a massively well-liked career selection. Veterinarians play an integral role in a health because both animals and humans, and also the environment are affected. Like clinical physicians, epidemiologists, or ecological specialists, veterinarians ought to be at the forefront of a health and its 3 pillars to guard the health and safety of animals, people, and also the atmosphere. When animal disease diseases strike any geographic location, veterinary professionals are the primary source of enlightened opinions regarding government, veterinary surgeons, the media, civil society organizations and charitable organizations, work and client teams, and veterinary problems for the public. It's long been recognized that the first response to potential animal disease as a result of epidemic events is of great benefit to future generations. Veterinarians additionally share responsibility for bio security. This is often a joint effort that encompasses a responsibility for both animals and / or animal product, both farm and companion animals ought to be shared by all. World Veterinary Day 2020 was also celebrated in Nepal. Due to the lock down, people have not been able to gather and celebrate programs, but various activities have been done through online platforms using the latest technology. Nowadays, people are feeding the community animals near their homes by adopting the lock down challenge campaign. As a veterinarian, people's classical approach is limited to treating, preventing and eradicating the disease. But in today's era, the religion and duties of a veterinarian are very wide. Therefore, it is necessary to change the attitude towards veterinarians in the eyes of the people. On World Veterinary Day, I would like to express gratitude to all the veterinarians and animal health workers who are trying their best round the clock to protect animal health and welfare in their regions.During this pandemic, many more are helping public health counterparts for COVID-19 surveillance as well as providing evidence based advice to pet owners. Thanks to all helping hands for easing off the crisis by providing comfort and feeding to stray animals. I am proud to be a veterinarian. references: https://www.avma.org/resources-tools/one-health https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4299976/

Hello Bal krishna Pandey, this is mentor Taehyun!
Thank you for the report! I didn't know about the world veterinary day! In this quarantine life, not only people but also house animals are having a hard time, because, in this situation, people who raise those animals cannot care about animals fully. And for that reason, the demand for veterinary is increasing. I feel thankful to the veterinary!
Thank you for the report!
Green cheers!

Hi Bal krishna Pandey, this is a mentor Sang Su Lee.
I did not know that such event exists. Thank you for introducing its meaning and what people do on that day. Actually, more and more people are raising pets in their houses recently. I could realize that animals and humans are good friends and can share their emotions. Therefore, I believe that this event is meaningful.
