[Free report] Pollution in real life

by Claudia Marin | 19-06-2020 21:37 recommendations 0

During my childhood, I learned to respect everything: people, nature, things, space, feelings, etc., but this theory needed to be actioned and there¡¯s a first time for every single thing that comes across our lives. In my city, pollution was always a big problem and people just live with that, they¡¯re so customized with it that they don¡¯t even try to find a solution to deal with. Facing this, I developed a project aimed to raise awareness in children and people from Moronacocha community. I preferred to choose these because both have something in common: they have the option to decide which way of living is better for them. In case of children, we can create awareness to them through environmental education, workshops, classes and so on. In the second case, people from this community live with pollution, and they don¡¯t want to change at all, even though the consequences they might suffer living in those conditions. For these reasons, I did what I mentioned previously and additionally, I asked to the school principal to make a collect of garbage of the elementary school¡¯s surroundings with children from a specific grade. In that way, I expected to make them see the reality they live and realize the importance of taking care our environment. Maybe I didn¡¯t create a real big impact but I strongly believe in Eduardo Galeano¡¯s quote: ¡°Many small people, in small places, doing small things can change the world¡±. My purpose has always been to leave an imprint in the hearts of those involved so that they feel the same call as I do and help improve our world in some way or another. Currently, I have done a petition of signatures to make a document in favor of this community to try to stop the contamination in this area.

Hi Claudia Marin, this is a mentor, Sang Su Lee.

It's very good attitude to respect everything. Humbleness is also the important value that Koreans are learning in schools. We, humans are not creatures that can live solely alone. We get a lot of helps from others and the nature. Therefore, it is important to live cooperatively, not selfishly.

Thank you for sharing a wonderful article.

    Cheers~!

Hello Claudia Marin this is mentor Taehyun!

You've made many contributions to the local environmental problems! Thank you for the related article! In order to do this, there are environmental groups in different regions, and it seems very desirable for individuals to pay attention to areas that they cannot care about. Please continue your meaningful activities! Cheer up!

    Thank you for the report!

    Green cheers!
