[Free report]: Climate change VS Wildlife |

It has been proven multiple times that our climate is changing and due to humans' activity it is changing rapidly. Extensive use of natural resources has led to the rise of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere which changes the temperature of the planet, the amount and intensity of natural disasters, the ice cover, stability of natural ecosystems. Many species will be unable to adapt to these changes and may end up extinct. The fisrt animal to go extinct because of climate change was the Golden Toad.
 It was declared extinct in 1989 but since then the situation has only become worse. This article will cover some animal species that have already been proclaimed endangered. 1. Asian Elephant (Elephas maximus)  Asian elephants live in southern and southeastern Asia. They are extremely intelligent: it is reported that they can recognize themselves in the mirror. However, habitat loss is a great danger to them. Rainforests get cut down so the elephants are forced to move closer to humans which puts them in danger: they can be taken to serve as a tourist attraction or killed for their tusks. 2. Polar Bear (Ursus maritimus)  Even though Polar Bears are not considered to be endangered, IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature) lists them as "vulnerable" species. Bears rely heavily on sea-ice environment; they use it to hunt, mate, and travel. Thus, melting of ice cover poses a great threat to these animals. It is reported that in some regions Polar Bears have become thinner and are having fewer cubs. Researchers believe it is due to the lack of ice in the animals' natural habitat. 3. Giant Panda (Ailuropoda melanoleuca)  Pandas' only source of food is bamboo which makes it impossible for them to adapt to new environment without it. Deforestation is the main reason for their endangerment, as well as poaching. 4. Koala (Phascolarctos Cinereus)  Koalas are listed as "vulnerable" species, however, there have been many calls from activists to change their status to endangered. Their main source of food is eucalyptus which loses its nutrional value due to increase of CO2 in the atmosphere and it leaves koalas weak and starving. Moreover, bushfires that are becoming more frequent and are covering more land are destroying animals' natural habitat and killing them in the process. 5. Staghorn Coral (Acropora Cevicornis)  Since the 1970s there has been a massive decrease in its population and now it consists of less than 3 percent of its former abundance. Due to ocean warming and acidification the corals are starving and cannot build their skeleton which results in death. You can read more about corals in my previous report. Sources: |

Hi Oksana Zavaliy, this is a mentor, Sang Su Lee.
It is quite despondent to notice that humans have responsibilities on the animal habitat loss and extinction. Extinction is still going on sadly. I really hope people endeavor more to stop tormenting innocent animals.

Climate change affects wildlife and their habitat. In Nepal, organisms shift from terai area to hilly area due to global warming. an see the situation outside Nepal like the present condition of Koala, Giant Panda and other species.

Climate change will change the natural life radius of each species, and the species that cannot adapt to the environmental changes will become extinct. It is known that there are six mass extinctions in the history of the Earth. And there's a scientist who says the last mass extinction is currently in operation. But the difference between the mass extinctions of the past is that the species on Earth is being wiped out by a particular species, not by natural causes. Human beings need to feel responsible.
