Currently, we are living in hard times because of the spread of COVID-19. It is especially dangerous right now, as the second wave has begun even before the first wave has ended, just like Sang Su mentor has told us. Because of this situation, it is important to know what we can do to further minimize the spread of this virus. The most effective way of minimizing the spread of the virus is to stay home. However, it is understandable that it can get frustrating and annoying. Therefore, when you go outside of your home, you must keep a minimum distance of 1 meter from another person; this will heavily minimize the spread of the virus because you will be far enough to avoid breathing in another person¡¯s liquid droplets from their mouth or nose, which is how the virus spreads (1). This also means that you should stay away from crowded places because it will be harder to maintain the correct distance in those areas (1). When you go outside, you may also encounter COVID-19 droplets on surfaces; this is why it is important to not touch as many surfaces as possible and also avoid pressing buttons, as other people who have COVID-19 droplets on their hands may have left the substance on there. However, we can never rule out the possibility of our hands carrying the substance; therefore, we must avoid touching our nose or mouth to prevent the virus from entering our bodies, and wash our hands thoroughly with soap frequently to kill the virus (1). The last major important guideline to follow is the act of wearing a mask. Not only is wearing a mask effective because it minimizes your chances of breathing in virus-carrying liquid droplets, but it is also effective because if you were the one carrying the virus, it minimizes the chances of you spreading the virus as well (2). Wearing a mask also prevents you from touching your nose or mouth, and its uncomfortable nature can remind you to always remember and follow the guidelines (2). In conclusion, try not to go outside as often as possible. However, if you have to, always keep a distance of 1 meter, wash your hands often, and wear a mask. Hi Seojin Lee, this is a mentor, Sang Su Lee.
COVID-19 is making many people around the world feel depressed. There is even a new terminology called "Corona Blue." Therefore, I believe that staying at home, which is the best method to fight against COVID-19, is not the best solution to combat this issue in the long term.
You've introduced some ways to prevent COVID-19 infection when one goes outside. Wearing masks and keeping a social distance are two most important things not to get infected. A few days ago, I watched the news that states the power of mask is far greater than we think. This can save many lives!!
I hope this would end soon... T.T I want to go outside and meet people as I did in the past.
Green cheers~

Hello Seojin Lee this is mentor Taehyun!
Thank you for your article on how to deal with the Corona virus! Everyone seems to be getting tired as the world is getting confused by an unknown virus, so please cheer up a little bit more. It's an unprecedented situation, but if we follow the guidelines of our respective local governments and cooperate with quarantine, we can end the virus situation a little earlier!
Thank you for the report!
Green cheers!
