[Free report]Environmental Impact by the production of both leachate and biogas.

by Anthony Duxell Malle | 12-07-2020 12:26 recommendations 0

The leachate conveys an important pollution load essentially formed of heavy metals, organic matter, and important community of pathogenic bacteria: by leaching and infiltration through the ground, it begets an organic, bacterilogical, and heavy metal pollution of soil ,surface water, and ground water(phreatic zone).
The organic fraction's biodegradation  of Municipal solid waste beget biogas emissions which cause the atmospheric pollution by contributing to the green house effect and global warming, particularly the Methane and hydrogen that are highly flammable ,and if they are not collected and valorised in a renewable energy form, they will be led to a potential risk of fire or explosion.

Hi Anthony Duxell Malle, this is a mentor, Sang Su Lee.

Thank you for introducing two kinds of pollution. I have not heard of leachate , but I learned from your article! As a mentor Taehyun has mentioned, it would be good to find some ways to use these wastes in beneficial ways.

    Green cheers~

Hello Anthony Duxell Malle, this is mentor Taehyun!

Thank you for your article on leachate! It is said that leachate, which is usually leaked from landfill sites, and the gas that is released as garbage is decomposed, can cause a lot of problems. However, some countries use these wastes to recycle them into biofuels, so I think it would be fun to look at them a little bit more.

    Thank you for the report!

    Green cheers!
