(Thematic Report) Save energy, read a post

by Gianluca Piran Fuselli | 31-07-2020 16:49 recommendations 0

Hey there! Considering that this post will be about energy usage and its effects on climate change and taking into account that an a post in a blog or an email produce more or less 10g of CO2, I will be as briefly as possible.

As we all know mitigating and adapting to climate change are key challenges of the 21st century, especially in relation to our overall energy consumption and our dependence on fossil fuels. To succeed in limiting global warming, we need to use energy efficiently while embracing clean energy sources to make things move, heat up and cool down. Due to the fact that two thirds of global greenhouse gas emissions are linked to burning fossil fuels for energy to be used for heating, electricity, transport and industry.[1] Depletion of fossil fuels, the impacts on the environment from mining those fuels, and the global warming exacerbated by burning them are critical reasons for us to become more responsible for the energy we consume.[2] Along the principal consequences you have:[3] increasing of the carbon footprint, produced by devices plugged in and running when they¡¯re not in use, causing a bump in the amount of greenhouse gases that enter the atmosphere; reduction in supply, due to the scarcity provoked by the overuse; higher energy costs, you will be paying more without an appreciable return on your investment; and, obviously increased risk of climate change. If you are wondering how you can save energy, click the next link to find 151 ways to do it! https://www.conserve-energy-future.com/151-ways-to-save-energy.php

Hi Gianluca Piran Fuselli, this is a mentor, Sang Su Lee.

Thank you for writing a concise article considering that writing costs CO2 emission. ^^

It is true that human activities produce a lot of CO2 emission. This emission results in ocean acidification, global warming and sea level rises. However, it is almost impossible not to emit CO2 because the nature of human activities always contains CO2 inevitably. Your problem definition was fantastic, but this article would be better if you research some appropriate and original solutions for this.

Thank you for a good article. Green cheers.

    Hello!
Thanks for sharing this information report. Energy from fossil fuels is one of the leading contributors to climate change and if we use renewable energy extensively we will be able to curb climate change.

Hello Gianluca Piran Fuselli, this is mentor Taehyun!

There is obviously carbon in the operation of the electronic equipment. No, the human activity, the breathing chamber, causes carbon. So should we completely curb these activities? No! We need to find the right line. However, we've been so busy since the Industrial Revolution that we've been developing without a proper compromise between the environment and convenience, which has resulted in an environmental crisis. It seems that we need to think about it more closely.

    Thank you for the report!

    Green cheers!

    Hi Gianluca!
Thanks for this information. If only one person implements at least 20 of these energy saving techniques, it would go a long way in combatting climate change. Let's all work together to make a change.
    Cheers,
    Chloe

    Greetings Gianluca Piran Fuselli,

the use of fossil fuels are also the major reason of GHGs. we must reduce it and should promote the most sustainable green energy.
