Cigarette Butts and The Sea I concern myself to the environment, specifically the sea, and to tobacco control. Even though tobacco control runs in the health area, cigarettes also have an impact on the environment. The smoke it produces along with its butts causes pollutions. Cigarette butts are the most polluted item to be found in the sea. It causes harm as it leaks dangerous chemicals and animals mistakes it for food. Since they are small, most do not think to pick them up and throw them away properly. During beach cleanup or any other cleanup, it is rather hard to collect them due to their size. That is why I plan to start a campaign concerning cigarette butts in the hopes that people do not carelessly throw them away and pollute the environment. |

Seriously, these cigarettes are no way good. Neither for health not for environment, still it's demand and supply is uncontrollable.

It is interesting to know the facts about cigarette butts and their harmful effects in marine environment.
I think people should realize their mistake and follow good behavior to make our surroundings clean.

Would it be possible for people to throw away cigarette butts anywhere if they knew that cigarettes were filled with substances that could pollute a variety of environments, and that could threaten our health? In the end, I think we should promote the contents related to people.
