[Thematic Report September:Climate Change] Situation in Uzbekistan

by Vazira Ikhtiyorova | 20-09-2020 09:05 recommendations 0

In a rapidly changing environment, the environmental issues of almost all countries worry a lot. Have you ever heard the increase in the temperature or reverse? Using any type of transportation, we all can experience talks regarding climate change but what is that? Let me tell you the situation where I am from and live.

Uzbekistan is located in Central Asan country but doesn't have an access to any seas or oceans. Despite all factors, climate change has tremendously impacted on economics, lives of ordinary people.
One of the brightest examples of climate change would be the Aral Sea. As you know, it became an extinction which means there is no water anymore. Hundreds of scientists are coming and trying to solve. You may wonder what happened if the sea doesn't have water?!

The air of the city became so poisonous that it is difficult to breathe, hence, a bunch of diseases is being increased and the death rate is being spread remarkably. Little kids are not required to love as it is dangerous for the health of her baby.

I would also mention the fact that due to climate change, winters became notably cold compared to the others we had previously. The majority of farmers, people who grow fruits or rare didn't get enough harvest.
What I want to tell you is the climate change impacted psychologically, ecologically, and financially. Change the lifestyle into a healthy one and spread kindness among humans.
Thank you!

    Hello Vazira,!
    It's your SJ mentor.

Thank you for sharing report about situation in Uzbekistan.
It is sad that the Aral sea disappeared.
A lot of lakes are getting dry due to accelerated evaporation caused by climate change.
Recovering such water resources is herculean task so we must cherish our remaining reservoirs.
How about writing next report about efforts conducted to restore the nature?
I hope everything will come out all right.

    Best regards,
    SJ mentor.

Thank you for article! Totally agree with you.

Full evaporation of the Aral Sea must be prevented or it will aggravate climate change not only in Uzbekistan but throughout Central Asia.

In order to solve eco problems, each person should started from himself.

    Hello Vazira,
    this is your mentor WooJoo.

    Warm greetings from South Korea.

What I know about the Aral Sea, is that it occupied an area as wide as California, but now it lost more than 90% of its water.
And the rate of disappearance of water had increased every year so much, due to climate changes/ Global warming.

I'm curious about what did scientists do, and how did they try to solve the problem. Do you know any example?

Thank you for sharing the report with us.

    Best wishes,
    WooJoo
