End of 3 days awareness campaign- World Ozone day 2020 Every year we celebrate ozone day on 16th September, 2020.This is because in 1994, the UN General Assembly proclaimed 16 September the International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer, commemorating the date of the signing, in 1987, of the Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer. So, I along with other Eco generation jointly organized the campaign so as to make people aware on the facts and information related to ozone and ozone layer depletion. It was joint campaign by: Myself (Regional ambassador for Nepal, Eco- generation), Meena Pandey (Regional ambassador for Nepal, Eco- generation), Shobha Pokhrel (Member, Eco- generation) and Dolma Diki Sherpa (Member, Eco- generation). We successfully come to end of our Awareness campaign held on the occasion of World Ozone day 2020. With the main motto of conveying awareness, facts and slogans related to the ozone layer, we conducted online campaign for 3 days (September 16-18). We would like to thanks all helping hands and our viewers. We were able to share 25 posters related to it. We posted the posters in the official facebook page of tunza Eco-Nepal where around 2210 people has engaged from Nepal and also we posted the posters in gallery of Tunza Eco- generation. On average we are able to reach 148 people (according to statistics in fb page) per poster. We hope this certainly had created some level of awareness among them. Thank you all the helping hands who helped me in the successful accomplishment of my campaign and I would like to give special thanks to Eco generation who has inspired me to speak for nature.
