Recycling – A passion since many years Hello fellow Ambassadors. I wish that each one of you is Safe & Healthy in their respective countries. This pandemic is close to its finish as the vaccine is just a few months away. You have all suffered a lot of loneliness & distant learning. I hope 2021 will be a better years for all of us. I am passionate about recycling since over a decade now. Each & every type of recycling has been practiced by me. Paper, Plastic, Metal, e-waste, used books, school books, uniforms, used clothes in new condition and so on. I finished my schooling from UAE & this country is very much organised & committed towards recycling. They have taken many measures to keep the waste away from the land-fills. One of such initiatives is putting up large recycling bins for clothes, toys, shoes etc. These items are donated to the needy in other countries. Items deposited in such bins are taken out, segregated and all good & usable quality stuff is sent in huge quantities to other nations. I have convinced my parents not the throw the good quality clothes. As we were at the growing age, many of our excellent condition clothes becomes smaller for our growing size. My parents used to segregate such clothes and keep accumulating. When a sizable quantity is reached, we¡¯ll approach these bins & our family will put them in the donations boxes. I used to encourage my friends, classmates and neighbours in recycling & many students have donated huge quantities of such items in the donation boxes. |

Hello Rohan!
It's your SJ mentor.
Thank you for sharing your actions to save the nature.
Proper waste disposal is required to Recycle products such as glass, PET, papers, aluminums.
Actually, Korea is doing pretty well with recycling we have recycling bins for clothes, batteries, fluorescent lamp in neighborhood.
Reusing before recycling is needed to save more resources.
I??m pleased that you are doing such great activities as an ambassador.
Keep up with your hard work!
Best regards,
SJ mentor.

Hello Rohan,
this is your mentor WooJoo.
Thank you for sharing your experiences and thoughts.
Donating unwearable clothes is an imitable action, and so I do the same thing.
A better idea would be not buying more than necessary, but I understand that this isn't easy.
Your passion and effort for recycling are praiseworthy, since you maintained them for years.
I hope your friends and classmates get to fight with us as eco-warriers.
I appreciate your work, but I would like to ask you to write bit longer.
I think you could introduce less paragraphs, and write bit more about the issue.
Thank you once again.
Sincerely,
WooJoo
