There are various job opportunities today in Rwanda that are provided by the environment. When travelling in the roads of my country, Its hard for you to pass by a some different wastes in the road and this is mainly due to the presence of labor forces that help and do this job.
Our country's main resource is our people, the labor and for this, it provokes our population to engage in this activities and make sure the country is clean hence even leading to the development of our country. Street sweepers are mostly regarded as low income earners and yes in fact to say, compared to other jobs, but these street sweepers contribute a lot to the country's development. In fact, its due to these street sweepers that Kigali the capital city of Rwanda, is considered as the cleanest city in Kigali. For Rwanda to hold this title, it didn't just come about abruptly, but the effort of these men and women that we mostly consider as unskilled did this. Was it not for the environment, these men and women would be unemployed, this would be increasing the problems faced by the community including mostly the ones caused by unemployment cases in the society. But now that these are employed, this the employment rate of Rwanda has increased hence leading to on a development of the country's economy. Approximately, this environment job of cleaning the streets has employed to more than 3000 citizens in Rwanda hence a great work done instead of barely seating with nothing to feed them which even later on rises theft and robbery cases but now that all these are employed then these cases are also rare due to the environment. Besides street sweeping, there are other many environmental jobs in Rwanda that also provide and employ other many people in our country. There are office jobs, different jobs provided by different environmental organisations and other field jobs that are all provided due to environment. Basically, the environment plays an important and big role in the development of our country since it provides all these jobs and also generate the revenues to the country. Environment jobs are really that diverse but plenty and essential with a high rate of effectiveness. Street sweeping job was the main key point(job) in this report Thank you all Green Cheers!!

Thank you for sharing thematic report regarding environmental jobs and employment.
Cleaning streets is very important for a pleasant life of citizens.
Environmental cleaners work in various places, including buildings, parking lots, and parks, as well as on the street.
They play a great role as the foundation of society despite hard labor.
I wonder if there is a correlation between the number of cleaners due to urbanization or if there are cleaners in the countryside.
It would be better if you could tell us about another job related to Rwanda's environment.

Thank you for sharing your report regarding the environmental jobs in Rwanda.
Street sweepers are one of the most important ones for the maintenance of the cleanness of the cities,
and it is sad that sometimes people underestimate their position only because of their low income.
It would be the best if the employment rate increases as environmental awareness increases at the same time, as it is happening at your city.
I would like to know if there was any change in the city after employing 3000 citizens as street sweepers,
and also what you think about the ongoing situation.

very interesting indeed about how deep the thoughts are towards the environment .
despite the fact that Rwanda has approximately limited tackle areas about her environment, meaning that there is not much to talk about because her general cleanliness speaks out. So the idea to unveil the information that has been displaced is quite nourishing and anticipate to influence a lot of young minds .
