Today, I will introduce to you one of the environmental organizations in Vietnam named " Xanh Viet Nam" ( means green Vietnam) which I have a chance to participate in last year.
As you may know, Vietnam is a tourism country so in many tourist spots, they are full of rubbish such as the sea or even the mountain. For that reason " Xanh Vietnam" was created by an online group of teenagers who are willing to make changes to my country. They hoped they could travelling and contribute to my country's environmental system at the same time so they created it. Basically, it is an online group (obviously it is extremely well-known in my country) where the advisors look for volunteers monthly (without boarder and age) who have the same mind and same willing. Those volunteers will be sent to a random place where needs help. Their main activities are collect trash, plant trees and draw environmental posters on walls. For example, last year, I have gone to Binh Duong ( which is the different province from where I live) to draw a posters on a secondary school. To my point of view, it is one of the most incredible and wonderful organizations that I have ever seen before. It is not only solve one of the biggest issues in my country about the environment but at the same time, it also equip new changemakers the soft skills like leadership and it spread the love to environment to everybody. At the same time, it also provide us a meaningful and memorable trip and new friends. |

I am glad to be able to hear your experience with Xanh Viet Nam, which I think it is amazing!
It is sad that the tourism is having a negative impact on the environment for such reasons,
and these irresponsible behaviors should strictly disciplined.
Also, it makes feel bad that in current situations such outdoor activities are restricted.
I hope that you and others can continue the great work as eco-warriers!

Thank you for introducing the Vietnamese environmental group.
It's amazing that teenagers created this organization.
It is very great that the generation that will be the mainstream of the future actively responds to environmental problems.
It would be good if you could also introduce how to cover the expenses needed for volunteering and what activities you are carrying out in detail.
