Seed bomb also known as earth balls is a technique to plant trees or any plant that has a seed rolled into a ball of red soil black soil clay or your choice. it is a great solution to fight the shortage or food and to help areas with drought and poverty . i got the chance to meet up with the founder of Seed Bomb and to speak a little, the production of the seed bomb is easy and problem solving and currently she have finished what is needed to produce seed bomb in factory and is waiting to launch the product officially. i was amused that it have been 3 years since the creation of seed bomb and it have went with a lot of experiment and struggles to come this far. this project have gained a lot of grants and having a big contribution for providing sustainability. the seed in side the seed bomb just need a little drop of water to generate the seed to life which makes it easy to distribute and manage, would like to thank Helina Teklu for her amazing contribution. Once introduced to the concept of seed balls in 2018, Helina co- founded Seed Bomb Ethiopia so as to fight deforestation and change the way agriculture is being approached in Africa. While working on Climate Change Africa (CCA), Helina saw firsthand on the effects of climate change (deforestation) and the backward system of Agriculture in Africa. Once introduced to the concept of seed balls in 2018, Helina co – founded Seed Bomb Ethiopia so as to provide affordable, easy to make, light weight and fast growing seed balls. Once introduced to the concept of seed balls in 2018, Helina wanted to share the knowledge she gained amongst her people esp. farmers and provide affordable, light weight , easy to make and fast growing seed balls. I hope you are doing well.
Thank you for introducing the Seed Bomb project.
I wonder how this seed bomb is made.
Also, I wonder if we don't have to sow separately when it comes to farming.
If so, it would be a great help for farmers to farm.
I hope not only crops but also trees can be planted in this way.

Thank you for sharing such an informative report regarding seed bomb.
I have poor knowledge on agricultural skills, so I was impressed reading how it works and what benefits there are when using this skill.
As you shortly mentioned, this skill would be very helpful in restoring deforested areas and solve the food crisis where conditions are very vulnerable for farming.
It is amazing the things that Helina did, and I appreciate all her efforts as well.
