BE AN INSPIRATION

In our fight for a better world, a better tomorrow, a better and brighter future, it all starts with us being the frontline workers for others to see us as inspiration and to learn from us. Being inspirational is very key in every fight for success especially if it involves people.

I was on my way back from a shopping mart where I had already rejected their offer of putting my purchased goods into a rubber bag because I thought it wasn¡¯t necessary and moreover the mart was not far from my house. On my way, I saw a gentleman walking with probably his wife and their kid (a boy). The man was drinking from a sachet of water and I could predict that he would drop the empty sachet on the floor. As if I knew what was coming, the man dropped the empty sachet on the floor. I was quite annoyed because a few meters from where he dropped the sachet, there was a dustbin.

I quickly hastened my walk and upon reaching where he dropped the empty sachet, I picked it up and walked pass him with his family and quickly opened the dustbin and placed the empty sachet into it. To my ultimate surprise, the man after getting closer to me, winked at me and thanked me. He even offered me a sanitizer to sterilize my hand since it could be infected and he went ahead and his child to be a responsible child and learn from what I just did. At the end, I was filled with joy because I knew I had just impacted somebody positively and that led to his child getting some form of inspiration from what I did. I know there are many untold stories like this, and I look forward to reading them one day. But the key thing here is about us as Tunza Eco Generation Ambassadors and members to be an inspiration to somebody positively. Together, our good deeds would help save mother earth.

Green Cheers!

    Hi Justice,

This is your mentor Debbie. :)

What an amazing name you got - your actions really justify your cool name of Justice. I would like to thank you for practicing eco-friendliness in your everyday life. Your incident must have been very rewarding for you, but it is more insightful for us the readers.

After reading your story, I have looked back upon myself and thought about whether I have missed out random trash while walking on the road. I??m not sure if somebody were to throw something on their way, I would have the courage to walk pass them and teach them a lesson in an indirect manner! Great job though!!

Thanks for inspiring me and others reading the article. :P

    Best Regards,

    Debbie :)

Hi Justice, this is your mentor Yuseon:D

Thanks for sharing your personal experience to us and giving us 'Inspiration'.
It was such a good act for you to pick up the plastic which was not your responsibility. It is even better to know that the man, instead of becoming annoyed, acknowledged his error right away. I bet you have given positive impact not only to his son, but all of the people on the street who saw you.

Keep up the good work in both taking care of the environment and sharing positive inspiration by writing about it!
