Businesses And The Environment - Thematic Report |

Businesses and the Environment Businesses around the world have been affected by climate change and this has led to some businesses changing their ways of operation for the greater good of the environment. It has always been about choice and it is very pleasing to know that a lot of businesses all around the world are making the right choices to help reduce pollutions in our environment to help mother earth to heal. I know for a fact that Volkswagen has pledged to sell about 1 million electric cars by 2025 and this is a move which would help reduce carbon emission from their old diesel vehicles because the electric cars do not emit too much carbon. These new inventions would come with its own challenges but since it is solving a particular problem it is perfectly normal to adjust to the norm. I would therefore encourage each and every one of us to try and patronize new inventions that seek to solve problems relating to the environment. In Ghana, I will praise the Environmental Protection Agency even though I feel they are not working enough, I will praise them for some of the policies they put in place for businesses that work using resources from the environment. Businesses that work with plants, have to plant a minimum of three when one plant is fell and this is a very good initiative. In a country like Ghana where laws are really had to enforce, putting laws to help regulate pollution which affects the climate is not easy but with the inflow of environmental activist and enthusiasts like myself. I believe in no time our environment would safer as time flies by. I would sincerely like to apologize for the late submission of the Thematic Report too. |

Hi Justice,
This is your mentor Debbie. :)
Electric cars have definitely become ¡®the new norm??. Not only Volkswagen but also many other car companies are trying to turn their businesses from engine-driven to motor-driven cars.
Who knows? The next might be hydrogen cars! Hopefully countries would also do its best in enforcing businesses to take environmental actions like Ghana is doing.
Best,

Debbie

New enviornment friendly designs such as electric cars and even hybrid cars are one step closer to a sustainable economy. Even though these newly published designs have contributed and expanded onky a bit among the civilians, the carbon emissions thats has declined is still a good outcome. If we manage to produce more hybrid and electric cars, in turn, reducing the number of cars run on diseal and petrol. We would be taking a huge step towards a better future. Thanks for sharing!
