by Meena Pandey | 24-04-2021 00:50 recommendations 0

The "green" architect or designer attempts to safeguard air, water, and earth by choosing eco-friendly building materials and construction practices. In the present context sustainability of the environmental components is a major concern. Green architecture is often deemed as ¡®Green building¡¯. Green architecture is designing or constructing anything with keeping no harm to environment in mind. It makes the best use of energy efficient resources. I wondered when I witnessed the green architect on the way to Chitwan National Park. The thing which I used to pay no attention for drew a lot of interest when I passed by it. Green architecture is really a good concept that attracts not only the eco-lover being soothing in looks. The ultimate aim of green architecture is to create models that safeguard and maintain the natural environment and are concerned to integrate in the best manner with the existing environmental setting in terms of space and energy, water and resource use.

Green architecture makes an attempt to reduce the scale of input to be incorporated to construct the building. In the name of development or any construction work, people do not hesitate to use the limited resources which can neither be created nor be renewed at the duration of hundreds of decades. There is a great need to make wise use of available resources, should not be haphazardly used for any projects otherwise it need to pay huge consequences in the coming future. Green architecture has multiple benefits ranging from social, environmental to economic. It strives to minimize pollution, maintains environmental integrity and does not deteriorate the environment.

Even the architecture imitates on the planetary system to maintain the green environment while constructing or designing building in not only environmentally friendly way but also in terms efficient of efficient utilization of energy. Thus, green architecture is one thing being with the environment in such a way that it is beneficial not only to the environment but also planet¡¯s ecology. Green architecture is a good instance of loving harmoniously with the environment. The ultimate aim of green architecture is to create models that safeguard and maintain the natural environment and are concerned to integrate in the best manner with the existing environmental setting in terms of space and energy, water and resource use.

    Hi Meena,

    This is your mentor Yuseon:D

I'm happy that these month's theme got to bring you attention to the green architecture around you. I cannot agree more that other than it's small environmental impacts, it is also soothing in looks, too. I also love the traditional hanoks or Loess room due to their comfortness both in smell and design.

Thanks for the well written thematic report!
Looking forward to your next report also,
    Yuseon

This is your mentor Debbie. :)

Seems like you??ve researched on Green architecture. I totally agree with you that this is about ¡°living harmoniously with the environment¡±. We should all realize that we are not the only living things on Earth. We are just a small part of the ecosystem which consists of so many other organisms.

Great job with the article! I wonder where you took the first picture! :D

    Green Cheers
