Celebration of Earth Day |

On 22nd April, 2021, I organized Intra School Drawing Competition to Grade 8 & 9 students of Shree Chandrodaya Madhyamik Vidhyalaya. The event was celebrated by students with wonderful drawings made on the theme of Restore Our Earth. Altogether 18 creative students from Grade Eight & Nine took part in the competition. Children drew pictures regarding greenery, earth, natural beauty, clean environment, earth as a habitat, biodiversity and many more. Prabin Rana Magar from Grade 9 stood first. Similarly, Miss Swechha Kunwar from Grade 9 won the Second position. Master Anish Sunar from Grade 8 won the third prize. And Master Sujan Gurung won the fourth consolation position. Winners were awarded with Rs. 500, 400,300 & 200 respectively. I self-sponsored the cash prize for the winning students. I will provide various eco-goods to the winners once i receive the promotional goods from Tunza Eco-Generation. Students were curious about Tunza Eco Generation. I described in brief about Tunza platform, how they could be part of it and how Tunza is contributing for the betterment of Environment and Climate. I saw positive vibes regarding Tunza platform and they promised me to join the platform very soon. I hope that these kids can learn a lot about environment, climate and many more opportunities through Tunza platform. The selection of winning drawings were made my teachers of Shree Chandrodaya Madhyamik Vidhyalaya.

This is your mentor Debbie. :)
I love the name of the drawing competition. “Restore” is my favorite word - it reminds me of going back to the fundamentals and being more appreciative of what we have right now. It??s great that students were eager to know about our platform as well. Hopefully more students can participate in our community and some of them are probably motivated by you, Sagar!
Thanks for sharing about Tunza to your community and trying your best to share eco-friendliness with younger students.

It has been almost a week since Earth Day, and many of the ambassadors have written a report about this:) It's good that we are all aware of this anniversary and keeping it in mind to preserve our planet.
Its also good for you to promote our platform to your fellow:) I hope many could join us here and share their insights, too.
