Vehicles are the medium to commute people from one place to another.  Today World has become a global village by the development of technology, rapid urbanization and astonishing development of the transportation sector. Among many vehicles, an electric rickshaw is one of the emerging, cheaper and comfortable vehicles. Since 2008, electric rickshaw has developed as a popular and eco-friendly alternative to auto rickshaws. They have a huge share in the transportation sector and are widely popular in South Asia.

They are three-wheelers powered by an electric motor ranging from 650 to 1400 watts. The concept of e-rickshaw came later in the 2000s but other electric vehicles have a big past as compared with e-rickshaw. Electric Cars and other vehicles started manufacturing in 1890s. Since then, numerous modifications have been seen in electric vehicles.  The first e-rickshaw of the world was manufactured in China, but it got rapid popularity in Nepal and India. The popularity of e-rickshaw was due to fact that pollution was increasing and there was a demand for greener vehicles for short-distance travel.

There are various types of electric rickshaws available in various different countries. Electric tricycle is popular in the Phillipines, whereas safari load carriers in Nepal, India and Bangladesh. Directly solar-powered rickshaws are making to the highway in China and its neighboring East Asian countries. Despite wide popularity and use, there are very few laws and policies governing the use of e-vehicles. In Nepal, many e-rickshaw owners faced registration issues in the transport department. Department of transport took strict measures to limit rickshaw in the limit of 100s within the city when there were more than 1000 rickshaws in few terai districts. In Nepal, they are particularly termed as Safari due to the fact that one can explore places in it.

    Hi Sagar,

    This is your mentor Yuseon:D

Wow this is an electric richshaw?? The apperance is rather simple and cute, and it must be made for independent single users. It sort of looks like a golf cart that you can ride in the field. It seems to have handles in the side of the roof, so I guess more than three people could ride along besides the driver. It seems like a optimal choice for transportation in short distances.

    Thanks for sharing this info:)

    Dear Sagar,

This is your mentor Debbie. :)

These three-wheelers are so familiar to me. Having lived in China for 10 years, I??ve seen so many people riding one of these. But I think these are not as popular in Korea. Anyways, it??s a shame that a greener version of the rickshaw is facing registration issues. Hope these will be quickly solved!! :)

    Green Cheers,
    Debbie

In present context, E-vechicles must be used more as the air pollution is increasing day by day. Let's make a plan together to buy E-vechicles in future rather then buying fuel vechicles.
Thanks for sharing meaningful information dada ...
