I am submitting my May month's free report as Tunza Eco Generation gives me a chance to submit it late. Thank-you TunzaEco Generation.
I am discussing about Agriculture Pollution in this free report.

Agriculture Pollution:
Agricultural pollution is the pollution of the agricultural environment which is harmful to human and other living beings due to various activities related to agribusiness.  The agribusiness uses seeds, water, fertilizers, pesticides, human labor and energy.  Farming is done in different ways.  Some farmers grow three crops a year, while others keep the land fallow for some time to improve soil fertility.  Due to agribusiness, food grains, fruits and vegetables etc.  Get the product;  But there are also some adverse effects of agriculture.  Agriculture produces waste.  They are called agricultural wastes.  Seeds from oilseed plants are used;  But the branches and roots of the trees are not used.  So that part has to be discarded.  Some of these wastes are generated by the production process.

Organic fertilizers and chemical fertilizers are used to increase soil fertility.  Organic fertilizers are natural fertilizers.  They are made up of biodegradable ingredients.  Organic fertilizers are used in traditional farming methods.  Chemicals are mainly used in chemical fertilizers.  These fertilizers are widely used in modern agriculture.  This is having a serious impact on the environment.  About 60% of the total fertilizers used for crops are absorbed by the plants.  The rest remains intact in the soil.  It then mixes with puddles, ponds, and river water.  Chemical fertilizers mixed with water accelerate the growth of algae.  Toxins produced by algae kill fish and cause disease in humans.  Toxic substances of these fertilizers are mixed in the groundwater of some areas.  Using such polluted water for drinking poses a health risk.  These fertilizers release nitrogen gas.  This causes the release of metallic toxins into the air.  Soil fertilizers are spread in the air and can pollute the air.

Pesticides are used to kill some of the pests and insects that destroy crops.  Sometimes farm pesticides are carried away with rainwater and mixed with springs and ponds.  Using such polluted water can be dangerous to people.  Pesticides can enter the body through human skin, eyes or nostrils.  They can cause eye irritation and other vision problems.  People who live near them for a long time may experience fatigue, pain and dizziness.  They are also dangerous to other animals and living things.  If it is mixed in the water of ponds and rivers, the fish in them die.  They also kill agricultural earthworms.

Organic and natural farming alternatives are suggested to prevent agricultural pollution.

    Greetings from Nepal

Used of chemical fertilizers and pesticides is immensely escalated to obtain maximum output from crops. So deterioration of soil fertility and environment quality is caused by overutilization of chemicals in soil. I think concept of biofertilizers and biopesticide should be conveyed among farmers. Water pollution is also caused by running off of pesticides in water source.

    Hi Pragati,

    This is your mentor Debbie.

Agribusiness is an essential part of our life since it deals with food. But sometimes we forget that there are negative consequences of agriculture as well. I hope we can reduce the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides. Though this might affect the yield, this would definitely help the environment!

    Green Cheers,
    Debbie
