[Free Report] Product Utilizing Microorganisms to Reduce Food Waste

Food is essential to all of us, as it is an unavoidable need to keep us alive. However, as we proceed to live our lives and consume food, we inevitably create food waste. Unfortunately, food waste has lots of potential to cause damage to the environment. Each piece of food we waste equates to wasting the energy we used to produce that food. Additionally, food rotting in the landfills produces methane, one of the greenhouse gases contributing to climate change. According to the World Wide Fund for Nature, “about 6%-8% of all human-caused greenhouse gas emissions could be reduced if we stop wasting food.” However, a promising product could be the answer to heavily reducing the amount of greenhouse gas emissions we produce. Recently, my family has purchased a food disposer composed of microorganisms able to decompose Ffood waste. The product has a lid that can be opened, and inside, there is soil containing microorganisms. After every meal, any food waste left over could be dumped on top of the soil, and after closing the lid and waiting a couple of hours, the food is decomposed and the quantity of soil seems to rise. Using this product, the greenhouse gases produced could be decreased as there would be less need for the food waste transporting trucks releasing harmful gases through its operation. Also, the methane produced from the rotting food in the landfills would also be minimized. All that is needed is a little bit of electricity to get the machine running. Unfortunately, this product seems to only be available here in South Korea. However, as its use becomes more widespread in the country and its effectiveness becomes more apparent, it could be available for the rest of the world and greatly contribute to reducing greenhouse gases. I didn't know that there was a product that has a function for decomposing food.
It looks like a washer for laundry, with an actual size smaller than it.
As you are a user of the product, it seems to be more easy to believe in the product's
efficient usage. I feel like I should purchase one for our family.

I haven't used this machine before but I've heard that this is not only good for the environment but also great to avoid bad smell of food waste at home. It's a shame this is only available in South Korea but the machine is indeed expensive! In my opinion it is important that we try to avoid making food waste from the first place, by trying to cook or buy the right amount initially. Thanks for your efforts :)
