My experience of being a part of IAAS Nepal National Congress |

IAAS is an international association of students in agricultural and related sciences. It is the largest association connecting students of agriculture and related sciences worldwide. IAAS Nepal has recently conducted its National Congress. In National Congress, annual activities of the committee is reviewed and next generation committee is elected. I had also been a part of the IAAS being in a committee from local to global level in past few years. Being a part of IAAS was one of my best experience. Once a IAAS, there¡¯s always a feeling of IAAS. I am an alumni in IAAS, it¡¯s my immense pleasure being in IAAS and supporting IAAS in every way that I could. I was invited as a guest speaker in IAAS Nepal National Conference 2021/2022 on an Inauguration Day. Following Inauguration Day, I was elected as the chairperson for the General Assembly. I chaired the session throughout. It was an amazing experience. Apart from this, on the Election Day for the formation of new committee, I was believed and was elected in the election committee. There was a cultural night too, we spent till late night sharing cultural experiences, singing dancing and playing lots of games. IAAS has always taught me,¡± An easy time and escaping new opportunity weakens our strength, while strong and dedicated trials strengthen it.¡± As I am writing this, I remember time back then when I first joined IAAS. Like the way I was a new comer to the University, IAAS in my university was also complete novice. It was challenging yet we could sense immense opportunity hidden deep inside. We embraced and made gentle move consistently. My IAAS journey started from local committee gradually extended to IAAS Asia Pacific and then to IAAS World. Though, my experiences and responsibilities got upgraded, I always consider myself as a learner. I do have lots of takeaway from IAAS. Even though the situation pulls you into the drag, ¡°work consistently¡±; ¡°believe in team work¡±; ¡°believe in yourself¡±, and yes ¡°never give up¡±. Now, the feeling of being IAASer is invariably imbued with feeling of calmness and family.

Hi Asmita,
This is your mentor Yuseon:D
Wow congrats on being part of such a huge and meaningful event!
I didn't know there was an international asssociation of agricultural and related sciences,
all held and conducted by students. It must have such fresh and out-of-the-box ideas.
Keep up the good work, and I would look forward for your other activities, too:)

Hi Asmita,
This is your mentor Debbie. :)
Congratulations for your achievement and development in your journey of IAAS Nepal. I'm sure your fellow team members were glad you were part of the team. On behalf of the Tunza family I can say that we are also super happy that you are our ambassador. Please keep on working during summer break too :) Again, round of applause for you!
