[Free Report] Get creative with plastic waste |

Today, plastic has become a major concern in the fight to conserve the environment. With it being poorly disposed, it ends up in waterbodies endangering life there.
Efforts are now directed to curbing plastic amounts allover the world. In this article, I bring you some easy ways to make products from post-consumer plastic, that you you can try out too. Firstly, there's a global movement against plastic waste called precious plastic, which aims to change how people think about plastic waste. It has about 400 workshops around the world. This movement was founded by a youtuber called Dave Hakkens. In one of his videos, he says that he started the movement after realizing that little amount of plastic waste was recycled. The movement wants to make people know that plastic is precious and that they can reuse it to make high quality and attractive products by themselves. And that since they will make what they want or need, it will be less likely to throw them in the bin. The movement has designed a small plastic recycling machine which cuts plastic into small particles, then melts them into new shapes. This movement wants everybody to get engaged in the fight for plastic and has gone ahead to put the blue prints of these machines online, so that people can access them and make the machines themselves. With this machine, the plastic is poured into the shredder which cuts it into smaller pieces which are then poured into a mould, flattened, and put into the heat press where it is melted down into a new shape. The new products vary from tiles to coasters, wallets, jewelry and lunch box bags. They are being sold online. They're not only focused on making money from this, but to spread and encourage more recycling of plastic. Furniture is one visible product of this creativity. It's a great sight for these change makers to see their plastic chairs and tables in schools or a bench at the park. Secondly, the invention of eco-bricks is gaining ground. Environmentalists are encouraging people to opt for plastic bottle bricks rather than the sand bricks. The idea is basically to get an empty plastic bottle, fill it with soil, then seal it. After, these bottle bricks are piled up like in the normal building process with a mixture of sand and cement in between. Sometimes, there is actually no need to do anything with the plastic waste but just to reuse, some plastic tins can be used as flower pots. Personally, I have learnt the skill of making a line, kind of rope from water bottle seals. These plastic ropes can be used for skipping and as a line for hanging on clothes. I hope that one picks interest in venturing into recycling plastic waste to make products of his choice after reading this article. Look at that! A piece of art indeed. I have to say, curbing the use of plastics would be really important in the future. More important later than now too. And the way of living you showed is something we should go for as well - reusing and recycling. Hopefully with such methods implemented we'll face a brighter future.

Wow its surprising that an individual owns and uses such a machine in his
household, and uses it to really reuse plastic particles to produce new ones.
It sounds like a huge scale process. Melting and making a whole new product
might be difficult for normal people to follow, but we can still try to reduce plastic
waste in the first place, and upcycle it to some simple other usages.
