Climate change, periodic modification of Earth¡¯s climate brought about as a result of changes in the atmosphere as well as interactions between the atmosphere and various other geologic, chemical, biological, and geographic factors within the Earth system. The atmosphere is a dynamic fluid that is continually in motion, Both its physical properties and its rate and direction of motion are influenced by a variety of factors, including solar radiation, the geographic position of continents, ocean currents, the location and orientation of mountain ranges, atmospheric chemistry and vegetation growing on the land surface, All these factors change through time. Some factors, such as the distribution of heat within the oceans, atmospheric chemistry, and surface vegetation, change at very short timescales. Others such as the position of continents and the location and height of mountain ranges change over very long timescales, Therefore climate, which results from the physical properties and motion of the atmosphere, varies at every conceivable timescale. Causes of Climate Change are; Burning coal. oil and gas produces carbon dioxide and nitrous oxide. Cutting down forests (deforestation). Increasing livestock farming. Fertilisers containing nitrogen produce nitrous oxide emissions. Fluorinated gases are emitted from equipment Thank you. Amb.Chabala Ken Chisenga 27th Eco Generation Regional Ambassador to Zambia

Hello Chabala,
This is your mentor Hannah.
Thank you for sharing the causing factors of climate change. As you wrote, atmosphere and other systems coposing the Earth interact to have certain temperature. In my university KAIST, I??ve seen a research team that simulates overall atmosphere temperature or seawater temperature by programming factors that attribue each other.
There have been some issues on global warming, that it is not a critical problem since it may be just a part of periodic climate change. What do you think about this?
Please keep up with your great work, thanks ;)

Hello Chabala,
This is your Mentor Joon.
There are many different factors that affects climate change, especially changes related to temperature. Even though some are inevitable and cannot be hindered, such as rotation of earth, geographical location, varying angles of earth's rotation axis and so on, we should first look for what we can do before blaming the nature. Some movements are currently being made by introducing Certificated Emissions Reduction(CER) of Carbon, smart farms that reduces methane production and so on. Yet, climate change is accelerating and we should find methods to slow down before we step over the critical point.
However, it is hard to find the balance between regulating the industries from polluting the environment and country's development. That is the dilemma every country is currently facing and might be a good food for thought.
Thank you for sharing.
Yours,
Joon
