27th Ambassadorship Month 2, Report 1 Free Report: October Title: Bee and pollination Pollinators have a significant impact on ecological connections, ecosystem conservation and stability, plant community genetic variation, floral variety, specialization, and evolution. In most terrestrial ecosystems where there is green vegetation cover for at least 3 to 4 months of the year, bees play a vital yet underappreciated function. Many kinds of plants and animals would perish if bees were absent from tropical forests, savannah woods, mangroves, and temperate deciduous forests. This is because insect pollination is critical for the development of seeds, nuts, berries, and fruits, and bees are the most important pollinators among pollinating insects. Because they spend the majority of their lives collecting pollen, a source of protein that they give to their developing larvae, bees are great pollinators. When a bee arrives on a flower, the hairs on its body use electrostatic forces to capture pollen grains. Pollen is groomed into specialized brushes or pockets on their legs or bodies, which they subsequently transport back to their nest, thanks to the stiff hairs on their legs. Bees prefer to concentrate on one type of bloom at a time, which means pollen from one flower is more likely to be carried to another flower of the same species by the same bee. Many plants, known as cross-pollinators, require this type of pollen dispersal in order to develop viable seeds. Pollen collection takes a lot of energy, which is why so many flowers attract and reward bees with nectar, which is a blend of water and sugars generated by plants. Bees perform an important role in the ecology as pollinators. They encourage the growth of trees, flowers, and other plants that provide food and shelter to both large and tiny animals. Bees play an important role in complex, interconnected ecosystems that allow a wide range of species to coexist. The importance of bees to our food supply cannot be overstated. Our crops would be barren and our dishes would be empty without them. Bee have multiple utility, in Pollination, Historical importance of Bee products and by products, health and many more. Though they are small in size they are one of the most important aspect of an eco-system. We must work for conservation of wild bee and their species. I wonder if there are other insects that work as pollinators, other than bees and butterflies.
Bees are crucial for cultivation of plants, hope human activities don't affect their population.

Hello Alok, this is your mentor Joon.
Every living organism has its role in our ecosystem. Those of bee is quite noticeable
as it helps plants to pollinate, allowing plants to make a fruit. Though bees are not the
only ones to help plants pollinate, they play a crucial role. We don't know exactly how
much impact a specie can have. Though it can't be seen, there might be cases that play
as important roles as bees do to pollinate in other means. That's why we need to protect
every life from going distinct.
