[Free Report] MUSHROOM

by Dalima Thapa | 24-11-2021 22:59 recommendations 0

I'm sure most of us like eating mushrooms so I wanted to write a free report on mushroom benefits as I am currently working on the production of oyster mushroom (Pleurotus sajor-caju) in my college campus.
Mushrooms are actually fleshy fruiting bodies of edible fungi and are macroscopic in size.
What are the advantages and importance?
* rich source of high quality protein, vitamins and minerals
* contains medicinal properties
* capable of degrading agrowastes and prevent pollution
* offer vast employment opportunities in rural areas.
* is an indoor crop- no requirement of sunlight and land.

Health benefits:-
* Mushrooms contain protein, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.
* 30-35% protein (dry weight basis)
* high in Vit-C & B complex
* very low starch, fat and sugar contents
* high in folic acid, helps in blood building
* Potassium:Sodium ratio is very high, desirable for patients with hypertension.

The lockdown has sparked new opportunity and fungi farms are mushrooming across the country. Many predict that mushrooms are the next high value agriculture crop which can transform incomes of small and marginal farmers.

    I love Mushrooms and enjoy eating it. it is full of complex nutrition such as protein and vitamins. If grown in wild life, it plays a crucial role on degrading and dissolve it into different pieces. The best part is that mushrooms are delicious! It was interesting to hear your story that you are working on production of mushroom!

    Well read your article.

    Best,

    Joon
