Being an ambassador and representing a region is the topic of motivation for me. Beside researching, writing reports and publishing it, an ambassador has a role to inspire other to develop interest on conserving environment from his/her possible way. Even small change can make huge impact. Here I have listed some of my steps toward environment. 1. 3R concept. Reducing the use of plastics, wastes and other unnecessarily important products. And reusing used plastic materials in decoration. Planting plants in such container is best way.  2. Gifting friends with handmade woolen products instead of plastic containing products.  3. Straw art has become my favourite now. I have switched into it.  4. School awareness campaign to make students know about the climate change and their possible impacts.  5. Survey to know about the reason s why brick kilns are harmful for the environment.  6. On very important day I have participated on the online competition organized by Youth Endeavour for Sustainable Agriculture Paklihawa, where I presented video on ways to reduce carbon footprint and be sustainable, and I got first position. 7. Organized online video competition in collaboration with HAVS Nepal, where more than 30 participants shared their ideas for sustainable agriculture. 8. Organized online Pictoword puzzle in collaboration with other ambassadors. 9. Participated in Nepal’s huge conference i.e National Youth Conference. This was conducted online. Different topics were discussed in conference where environment and role of youth were also discussed. I have been participating in many more events. More importantly I am a student os agriculture science. And this topic is directly and indirectly related with environment. We are also taught about the healthy and eco-friendly ways to tackle problems associated with agriculture. So , these are some of the events and steps I have followed since, I was selected as ambassador. |

Hello Binita, this is your mentor Hannah.
So many works you've done are great. All the pictures are so cute and I wonder how to do the straw arts. Following the 3R rules is not easy as it seems, so I also try hard for it.
Participating events and conferences, etc... are great as well.

Hope the journey with us helped you enlighten your way to future. What we aim is consistent action, not one-time. Hope our ambassadors to persistently think about environmental issues and work to alleviate problems around themselves. Small actions could be gathered and may lead to collective action which could solve bigger problem with less effort. Hope your actions become one of those.
