What I am doing to help the environment( Promotional goods) |

I used to think that I was an environmentally friendly person until I became a member of Tunza Eco-Generation. I was not doing enough and not taking environmental issues into account. The more I wrote reports, the more I realized my mistakes by doing research and reading other ambassadors’ reports.For example,in order to write a report on “Zero Waste,” I had to read plenty of articles about the causes and consequences of waste. And I was a contributor to the waste problem because I was not recycling, reusing, and reducing enough.
If someone asks me what I am doing to help the environment, my answer will be, “I am changing myself, my views, and my responses to the environmental concerns”. I don’t want to be a part of the problem anymore but a solution. I am taking small actions each day. For example, whenever I went to the market, I always came back home with plastic packaging bags. Now I use my shopper bags and try to avoid plastic ones, and of course, I can’t go plastic-free life overnight, but most importantly, I am in the right direction. Also, my university is not far away from my home, it’s a 20-minute walk but I did use transport to reach my destination. And now I choose a walk rather than polluted transport, which is also saving my budget. Those are not dramatic changes; at least I’m helping the environment with my small actions, which can give better positives to the environment. Recently, I organized a small lecture for the students of the university I study. I made a speech about Tunza Eco-Generation and how it has changed my life positively, and raised awareness about an eco-friendly lifestyle.   |

Spreading awareness is a crucial point on alleviating world's environmental crisis. It is good to hear that you have organized a study group/lecture so that you could spread the positive impact to those around you. Changes start from minimal actions. If you can keep up with your work, I am sure you may have the potential to change the issues towards problems that is affecting environment.
